B.Com. Accountancy or Bachelor of Commerce in Accountancy is an undergraduate Commerce course. Accountancy is an art of expressing business and financial information. Accountancy, one is taught ways to implement and present the company business statistics and accounts. It is one of the ways through which the company implements to keep a track on its expenses as well as earnings. The duration of the course is three years and it is career orienting and originating one in nature that opens many opportunities for the candidates after its completion in many fields.

 

B.Com. Accountancy Eligibility

• Senior School Certificate Examination (12 years) of Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi with Pass in Five subjects (One language and four elective subjects) or an examination recognized as equivalent to that.  or

• Pre-University Examination (Two years after ten years of schooling) of an Indian University recognized by the University of Delhi).  or

• Intermediate Examination of an Indian University/Board or an Examination recognized as equivalent to that (Pass in Five written subjects).

 

B.Com. Accountancy Course Suitability

• Students wishing to qualify as chartered accountants also are suitable for it.

• They should have an aptitude for mathematics and be able to analyze, compare and interpret facts and figures quickly.

• They must be able to communicate well and have an eye for detail and familiarity with computerized accounting is essential.

• They should be able to work as a team, have high standards of integrity and accuracy as major decisions are made based on financial statements given by them.
